2025/08/23 Come up with an idea
Previously, I used to create sculpt base models using GAAM (General Animal Anatomy Model), which I had created myself in 2022. However, as I experienced with my sculpting, I realized that most of the fine muscles were being ignored. From a surface anatomy perspective, I think that fat and skin will induce this circumstance.
2025/08/24 Name has been decided, thinking model architecture
New model name is “Harmony: Hybrid Anatomical Representation Model Of Narrative Yields(叙述的結実における解剖学的表現モデル)“.
2025/11/11 Name has been changed and Basic model structure has been decided
New model name is “Harmony:|| Hybrid Anatomical Reference Model of Observational and Narrative Yields.”(観測的かつ叙述的結実におけるハイブリッド解剖学的参照モデル).
The basic structure is as follows:

2025/12/01 Figure out fat-body concept
I figure out a concept of the fat structure. fat-body is a complex tissue. Then, if it simulates perfectly, the needed machine power is poorly high. Therefore, I decided to use cloth simulation to simulate fat-body.


Specifically, by using vertex weight to set up the simulation, using as structural strength and pin weights, controlling shape transform makes simple.
2025/12/06 Start Sculpting Bones

Today, I sculpted the root of Harmony:||. I felt advances of my sculpting skill. e.g.;
- better shape recognition
- better sculpt bases modeling
- better sculpting
- better topology making
2025/12/09 Completed: The body bone.


Yesterday, I didn’t get much done due to unexpected events, but today I managed to get things done.
Harmony:|| is a kind of HYBRID anatomical model. So, I have got to think the existence of the tail. Also, it must be deform-able to transform bone shapes.
This is one of the reasons why I prepared the bone armature: to allow for bone deformation.
2025/12/16 Completed: The leg bone.

2025/12/25 Completed: all bones and bone armature

I got it. I finished creating all bones and structural armature of the bones. There are 811 bones in the structural armature only for the bones. I’m very tired but satisfied.
2026/01/06 Start to sculpt muscles

HAPPPPPPPY NEW YEAAR!!!!!!! Today, I sculpted body muscles at the very beginning work of this year. It is like “Kakizome(first draw, 書き初め)” in Japan.
2026/01/14: Almost there…

2026/01/18 Completed: Sculpting Muscles and Prototyping Head

I completed to sculpt muscles of Harmony:||.
And…Yes. I added head bones and muscles. As for me, I’m lacking the experience of sculpting heads. Thus, I added the “abstracted head” to Harmony:||. This approach is just a prototype. If this approach succeeded(i.e. if it can express various species head using same topology), I can parameterize the deformation of each species. That is, this abstracted head is a kind of the model.
2026/01/21 Prototyping UI panel

Today, I am very tired and my right hand hurt due to overwork. So, To change things up, I did a different kind of work than usual.
2026/01/27 Completed?: Rigging all muscles


I rigged all muscles. There are about 1,700 bones in a armature. Doing it by hand is backbreaking work, so I wrote some scripts to proceed it.
Some deformation of muscles are weird. Thus, I’ll fix it in the few days.
2026/01/30: the midway of making skins…
Eureka!! I noticed the reason of sense of discomfort which I have experienced very long time!! I misunderstood the structure of eyes!!
The iris of human eyes is really small, indeed. In fact, small irises induce to make large sclera area. And, yes. Large sclera area imagine the “humanity”.
However, sometimes “humanity” makes “The Uncanny Valley”. Reversely, to reduce “humanity”, we can avoid this phenomena.

This sketch is simple graph of structure of an eye. That center of this graph, I just named “angle of iris, AoI”, annotated , is expressing the angle from center of iris which appear on a surface of an eyeball. AoI of humans is very small, perhaps the value is smaller than . But…AoI of canines is large. Maybe the value is approximately .
The eyes is covering eyeballs, and the hole of this is not larger than eyeball. Thus, small AoI induce large sclera area viewed from frontside. This test render compare result of small and large AoI.

2026/02/04: Complete Skin Topology
I did making base of skin mesh. The word “base” means literally meaning of base, fundamental of fat-body and skin simulation. But I have to fine-tuning it for better simulation result. I’ll fine-tuning armature first.
2026/02/09: Complete Fine-Tuning of Structural Armature
Today, I totally finished fine-tuning all bones of armature. Finally, there are 1,815 bones in only 1 armature. It looks insane!!
But all bones are in controlled by me. And…yes. All structures have fractal nature. So beautiful.
2026/02/13: Completed Fat-simulation and Created The Poster

Today, I finished to create fat-body simulation!! Since I imagined, I waited long time to see what beautiful is this concept!!
And, I made the poster. I received this idea on Deviant Art. But…I prefer lighter mood than darker one. Therefore, I made a background image using Apophysis 7X. It’s very old software but can run on my laptop!
The rest tasks are;
- make UI panel(s)
- make a documentation
Also, I considering the price of this model. Indeed, I spent a lot of time to create it. Generally, anatomy model is much expensive(at least, by my investigation). However, I would like to distribute this model to everyone. I’m struggling about it…

And…ALL TASKS ARE COMPLETED!!!!!!(yesterday) aqwsedrftgyhuj!!!!!!
I completely finished all of the Harmony:||!!!! Indeed, I have to fix some problems. Okay, I see. But, I’m glad to make self-made new anatomy model. Bye bye, my old anatomy model made in 2022. Hello, my new, beautiful one.
